Brilliant hotel.we have just returned after a 3 night break. Very clean hotel. Food was lovely. Staff were very friendly, a special mention about Chris on reception fantastic guy and would do anything for you, always had a smile on his face. Truly a valued member of staff here. Overall would definitely book to go back.
Liked the hotel, little bit dated but I think thats reflected in the price. Staff were brilliant, food was nice, the drinks vouchers very good. Overall a solid 8/10 and id stay here again
Room was clean and warm. Bed was comfortable, tea and coffee in the room which is supplied daily. Breakfast is self service with a wide choice to choose from which was very good, plus tea coffee and fruit juice. Just help yourself. Now the evening meal which is a 3 course of three choices on the menu which you tick what you want on a menu. Can be a bit hit and miss with choice though. Lounge is OK with entertainment and bingo each night. Short 5 minute walk to the promenade and bus stands near by. Personally cannot fault this Hotel, staff very friendly, and yes I would return in the future. But if you want all the Bells and Whistles expect to pay for it.
We just got back after 5 days...Great holiday. We are all aware of the delays booking in and waiting to come back....return trips late this time and 5 months ago....crashes on M62 both times...compared to July the food was much better...New Kitchen manager. We heard others complain but we had no issues ourself. We already booked for next year. Room 108 was spacious and clean...shower hot..bed comfortable. Reception staff were great...Chris and Rhianne....apart from the booking in and booking out process everything else was great for us.
Just got back the hotel could do with a bit of upgrading but it was clean the beds had clean white sheets and covers on it food was spot on breakfast buffet style lots of choice for evening dinner.staff very friendly big shout out to Alfie behind the bar this guy never stops very poilte and helpfull .we would definitely stay again
Stayed your hotel with Caledonian 12th to 15th Dec party of 15 ,just to say had fantastic stay from Kathleen who drove us down from north east she was fantastic very cheerful and put us in xmas spirit Richard who served meals was very pleasant ,rooms very nice spacious, bar staff helpful Entertainment amazing. Altogether wonderful stay I'm sure all of the crowd will be making an early in the year booking
My 2nd visit with friends and for the money it takes some beating. The hotel is dated and in need of some TLC in places, however it was warm, clean and tidy. Food is basic but was fresh and tasty. Thanks again to the friendly helpful staff. We will no doubt return later in the year.
We stayed here from the 19th/23rd of January,we had originally booked with another hotel but we were asked to move here,we can't fault it to be fair,due to a reason that wasn't the hotels fault at all we were moved rooms late Tuesday night,a massive thank you to the very helpful man who was night porter/security staff,our new room was lovely quiet and warm,comfortable beds and pillows,great walk in shower, buffet breakfast again was very nice,we didn't have evening meals as we were down the town at that point,reception staff bar staff and room cleaning staff all very friendly and welcoming,no complaints from us,evening entertainment brilliant as well
